Mike Gaetke is a native of San Diego, California (USA) and currently lives in San Diego with his wife of 33 years, Cathy. Mike and Cathy have three adult children. Since 1997 Mike has been the President and CEO of Adamo Construction, Inc. a design/build construction company located in Lakeside California, CA., specializing in design and construction of military and industrial facilities throughout the United States and abroad. www.AdamoConstruction.com.  Mike has been involved in the construction industry since 1978.
For more than ten years Mike has been a business group leader for Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI) www.FCCI.org where he facilitates a weekly meeting to help business owners and leaders understand what it means to lead a company for Christ, and to integrate Biblical principles into their businesses.  For the past ten years Mike has also been involved in prison ministry at the Federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown San Diego, where he leads a twice monthly Bible study for the inmates.
Mike is currently working with Peter Mulinge, a Kenya native, to develop a Servant Leader Institute in Kenya Africa. Project plans are currently being developed for this exciting project. Mike has also lead many mission work trips over the last 20 years to Costa Rica, Central America to construct churches and pastor’s homes.When Mike is not busy with business or ministry activities he enjoys traveling with Cathy, flying as a licensed private pilot, paragliding, mountain biking or paddle boarding.

Raised a son of medical missionaries in Kenya and Congo, Tory likes to say he never really left Africa; though much of his life today is in many ways different from his formative years, he still considers Africa home and servant leadership as the only true leadership model.  He daily seeks to integrate servant leadership into the water resources engineering firm (www.trwengineering.com ) he has led for the past 18 years.  Supporting the mission of ASLEAD under Peter’s leadership is therefore an honor and a source of inspiration for Tory.
Tory currently lives in Murrieta, California with his wife of 35 years, Jenny.  They have three adult children (two married) and one adorable granddaughter.  He has served the north San Diego County community in various capacities, including business, hospital and school not-for-profit organizations.  He has also facilitated a Christian business leader group for eight years.  When he is not working, volunteering, or spending time with family, Tory loves to run on trails, something that he started many years ago in Kenya.

Joe Lara is a native of El Paso, Texas and enlisted in the United States Navy in August 1992.  His career took him across the country and around the world.  Between 2006 and 2010, he trained and deployed with SEAL Team ONE in both Iraq and Afghanistan conducting numerous combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.  After returning from his operational tours, he assumed several leadership roles including the Force Tactical Information Operations Senior Enlisted Advisor of 350 personnel supporting Naval Special Warfare operations worldwide.
Retiring in 2016 after 24 years in the military, he quickly discovered his follow-on purpose and found himself serving alongside various non-profits in San Diego focused on at-risk youth and veteran initiatives.  Today, Joe is the Director of Programs at The Honor Foundation, a one-of-a-kind military transition institute designed exclusively for US Navy SEALs and Special Operations personnel.  He met Dr. Peter Mulinge in 2017, joined the board of directors for Africa Servant Leadership Development Initiative, and traveled to Kenya that same year to learn how to support the mission further.  Joe considers himself a lifetime student of Servant Leadership.  He is happily married to Kimberly Lara and has two teenage sons, Brandon and Austin.
